~4-H~
4-H is a great way to make new friends and learn about leadership and other people. I'm not in a live stock 4-H so I don't have anything to do with cows, sheep, horses, or anything like that! I belong to the Henderson Township 4-H club. We are a general 4-H club. That means you can take just about any project you want. Most of the girls do sewing project while the guys do Model Rocketry and Electronics.
For the past three years, Sunni Pifer and I and a few other girls in our club went to Fashion Revue with our out fits we made in sewing. This year, I made it to state Fashion Revue. Sunni also went to State Acheivment days, but not for Dress Revue. She went for somethin' else. There are also Clubs from all over PA at states. We stayed at Penn State University from 3 days and 2 nights!! I had alot of fun!! You get to sleep in dorm rooms and theres a dance both nights!! I met some really great people at states...ya'll know who ya are!! I hope I make it next year too!!
Camp is another one of the main High Lights of our 4-H year. Other than hot counselors and old friends we have canoeing, swimming, a dance, a talent show...there's so much more. I have been going to 4-H camp for the past 3 years. I'm glad I went that first year! Next year I'll be old enough to be a counselor!! I can't wait!
